Nov. 3, 2012:

The Lorain County Historical Society (LCHS) is pleased to announce that it was presented on November 3, 2012 with the prestigious Preservation Merit Award for its preservation of The Lorain County History Center from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office (OHPO) of the Ohio Historical Society at their 31st annual OHPO Awards Luncheon in Columbus, Ohio.
