Education Programs

Since the founding of the organization, the Lorain County Historical Society has offered educational programming.

LCHS provides well-researched and engaging presentations through exhibits and tours offered at our two history museums in Elyria, a speakers bureau of talks available to groups of all ages, tours of local historical sites, traveling “suitcase” presentations for schools developed to meet Ohio’s learning standards, and digital content accessible to a larger audience.

Programs are approximately 45 minutes in length. The fee is $40 for each presentation and $20 for each presentation for schools within Lorain County. Programs presented outside of Lorain County are $75 plus mileage.
